How to mix Shreman skimmed milk powder

Choose your pack format

• Shreman Special 1 kg: Mix one (1) part powder by mass with ten (10) parts water by volume.
• 30 × 500 g trade case: Mix one (1) part powder by mass with five (5) parts water by volume.

Measure the water first. Use warm, not boiling, water and add the powder in two or three stages while stirring. Do not add Shreman Special powder directly to boiling water. Let the mixture rest for a minute, then stir once more before use.

Shreman Special 1 kg is equivalent to 5.4 litres of skimmed milk. Read how pack ratios affect cost per litre.

This is skimmed milk powder, so the prepared product is lighter than full cream milk. For chai, kheer or sweets, prepare the base mix first and then adjust the recipe to the consistency you need.
